Artist and Printmaker based in North Devon specialising in Screen Printing.

Transforming my hand drawn illustrations into screen printed art and textiles.

Always being drawn to creativity from a young age I followed my passion, studying art and design at college, then going on to study Fashion and Textiles at University. It was at university that I found my love for screen printing.

Inspiration for my work comes from my love for animals and wildlife, again from a young age I remember being obsessed with animals. 

It was several years after graduating at uni before I got back into printmaking. I remember it like it was yesterday a warm sunny day in North Devon I headed to the garden with my sketch book, pencils, pens and paint to do a spot of sketching. The day the OG hare print was created. 

This was the day my print journey started I purchased my first screen and squeegee and set about researching printing tables and make shift ways of how to expose screens at home. My dad build me a print table out of an old ping-pong table and I learnt to expose screens using a halogen light washing the screens out in our downstairs shower.

Now printing from my Print cabin studio nestled on farm land in the heart of North Devon I feel my drawing and prints have evolved hugely from that day in the garden. My unique style of bold blocks of colour with detailed fine black lines. Were I used to use purely Natural colours and tones I have now started exploring into bright, bold, fun colour ways as well.
