Combining my love for drawing and screen printing I create unique hand screen printed art and textiles. Each print starts its life as a rough pencil sketch, then choosing the black detail lines before adding colour. Deciding on how many colours i'd like the print to be and usually starting with the lightest tone and building up the colours.

Screen printing is a technique where I create a stencil on the screen from my hand drawn illustrations, this then allows me to pull ink through the screen leaving the design on the textiles. Depending on how many colours are in the print will depend on how many screens I need to make. Building the layers of the print from the base colour up to the black detail.

I take my inspiration from my love for animals, my prints originally started with British wildlife such as Hares, Foxes, Badgers. Slowing dipping my toe into commission prints of people's pets and favourite wild animals. Now recently expanding to more exotic wildlife, and finding joy in drawing animals with unique markings.
